Nestling in their own enclosed grounds, each of these homely cottages comprises three storeys, providing a home for up to seven children and young people aged 5-18. The grounds include a trampoline and play equipment, while indoors, all children have access to a computer and a range of activities such as arts and crafts.
Our children’s home has excellent links with local schools, and transport to and from school is usually provided. Our prime location provides easy access to numerous shops and leisure facilities.
At Dean and Grove Cottages each child is an individual with their own unique placement plan developed in association with the child, social worker, parents and other significant people. Each child is encouraged to reach their full potential within a caring, happy environment. Most stay for the medium or long term, but we also offer short-term placements where required.
Dean and Grove Cottages are suitable for children with a moderate to severe learning disability, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and behavioural difficulties.
