Children's Home Manager

We’re looking for a passionate, experienced leader to take the reins of our residential children’s home. This is a rare opportunity to bring vision, empathy, and excellence to everything you do.
As our Residential Manager, you’ll:
- Lead and inspire dedicated care teams
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards
- Champion safeguarding and person-centred care
- Manage budgets, staffing, and day-to-day operations
- Drive continuous improvement and professional development
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years supporting young people in residential care
- 2+ years in a management or senior role
- Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Health & Social Care, or a willingness to work towards
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for empowering others and making a difference
- Business awareness
Special Requirement
- To comply with Ofsted regulations, the post holder must assume the role of Registered Manager and meet all relevant standards within an agreed timeframe.
Salary: £40,000 (Band R3) tp £55,000 (Band R7) based on experience/qualifications or through progression
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours/week (Mon-Thurs: 9:00am–5:00pm; Fri: 9:00am–4:30pm)
Flexibility: Must be able to work evenings, weekends and on-call, as needed.

Business Support Administrator
If you have experience of working in an administrative role or you are wanting to develop and take the next step in your career, then look no further!

We have a well-established, friendly and experienced Business Support administration team. Depending upon experience, the successful candidate could join us immediately as a senior administrator.
What you will be doing
You will be a key member of the Business Support team, providing efficient, effective administrative and support services to the fostering, residential and domiciliary services, Directors, departmental managers, staff and foster carers for the whole organisation.
What You’ll Need
We are looking for someone who has extensive administration experience, is professional, personable, flexible and proactive. You will be expected to exercise initiative and independent judgement whilst ensuring a high degree of tact and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Key elements of the role require for you to be an effective team player, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be a good communicator (both verbally and written).
You should have outstanding organisational and time-management skills, a good attention to detail and experience of taking complex minutes.
You must have the equivalent of 3 GCSE’s (including Maths and English, C or above), NVQ L2 in Business Administration (or equivalent) and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Sharepoint.
Salary (pro rata’d): £24,830.95 per annum (Band A), with potential progression to £26,812.67 per annum (Band C)
Contract: Permanent, part-time contract (20 hours – split shifts)
- Wk 1 – Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 13:00;
- Wk 2 – Monday to Thursday 13:00 to 17:00, Friday – 12:30 to 16:30
Location: On-site at Grimsby (DN32 9DZ) with free parking
