Preparation to Foster training

We had our final Preparation to Foster training session of 2023 last week, with 5 fantastic potential foster carers.

Our trainers, Rob and Claire, took them through a child’s journey in foster care, exploring many areas including safeguarding, attachment, supporting behaviours, diversity and inclusion, education and health. Everyone threw themselves into the activities, especially building up our ‘wall of needs’.
