The Dragon with no Teeth

Dragon with no teeth

Who makes a great foster carer?

There isn’t one answer.

Our foster carers come from all walks of life and bring with them a huge range of talents, experiences and interests that help children learn, grow and flourish.

One of our carers has recently added published children’s author to that list! Their delightful new book tells the story of a princess and a friendly dragon, sharing important messages about friendship, self-belief and looking after your teeth.

We love celebrating the incredible people who make up our fostering community—and the many ways they inspire the children in their care. We’re so impressed and proud of this achievement.

If you’ve ever thought about fostering, don’t underestimate what you could bring. Sometimes it’s the passions you already have that make the biggest difference.

“When a young princess discovers a friendly dragon with no teeth, she sets out on a magical adventure to help him smile again. Along the way, she learns that true friendship means helping others, even when no one believes you, and that courage and self-belief can overcome fear. With the help of an unlikely witch and a little magic, the dragon gets a second chance—but not before teaching the king an unforgettable lesson! This heartwarming story also encourages children to understand the importance of looking after their teeth through fun, humour, and adventure.”
